VoIP - 1616 Radio Console / Small Footprint with 8 Lines

  • Police and Fire Departments
  • Utility and Energy Companies
  • Railroads and Airlines Industries
  • US Forestry and BLM Agencies

The IP-1616 is a small footprint eight-line full-featured desktop control console designed with VoIP Technology for use with conventional radio systems.  The IP-1616 is a self-contained dual processor based console that does not require CEB or under-the-desk CPU equipment.

The IP-1616 can be easily connected to any internal Ethernet network by connecting a standard 10/100 base TX cable to the back of the unit and assigning it an address, thus allowing for an unlimited number of IP-1616 consoles to have full control and functionality over the system.

To program the IP-1616 console, you simply connect to the Ethernet port on the back of the console and use your favorite Web Browser on your computer.

The IP-1616 console has the capability of controlling crosspatch between any of its eight lines.  The dispatcher can communicate with the crosspatch group or operate on the other channels.

Its four-line Liquid Crystal Display provides channel alpha/numeric indication and features a 12/24-hour clock and audio-level display.

The IP-1616 comes with many standard features such as F1-F16 function tones, Alert tones, TX-ALL, RX-ALL, DTMF Keypad, Auxiliary buttons, RX and TX Block, Parallel update, Select Call, Paging, Instant call recorder, ANI display, Group select and VoIP connection.

It is housed in an attractive durable metal enclosure measuring 5.5 in H x 9.75 in D x 15.75 in W.

The IP-1616 works with the other Telex VoIP based products including the C-6200 and IP-223 for its connectivity to the radios and telephone lines.  Contact the factory for help in designing an Ethernet based VoIP solution and eliminate all those analog wiring hassles.
